A holiday for the critics

When The Adventure Guidebook to China is published by Hunter Publishing, I’ll be keen to see just how enthusiastic the blurbs are and who has written them. Why? Because I’ve just been sent this by the author:
I’ve attached a chapter and a brief synopsis to this mail in the hope that you’ll be kind enough to have a read through and offer a review or cover quote. The author of the quote that appears on the back cover of the book will win a free 15 day tour of “The Other China” (Taiwan) with Grasshopper Adventures.
That’s disgusting. That is tantamount to fraud, bribery - whatever you want to call it.
I’ve been listening to the Godlike Mark Kermode recently ranting on a similar theme.
Seems like you should be using your position at a National Newspaper to make a far bigger stink about this.
